Strahov Monastery is a Premonstratensian abbey founded in 1143 by Jindřich Zdík, Bishop John of Prague, and Vladislaus II, Duke Bohemia. It is located in Strahov, Prague.
Černín Palace, the largest of Prague's baroque palaces, has served as the offices of the Czechoslovak and later Czech foreign ministry since the 1930s.
Loreta Monastery is a beautiful baroque building that has a broad front with a clock tower.

Along with Prague Castle, visit the two other parts of Prague's historical centre on the left bank, the Castle District and the Lesser Town. Since this is a walking tour and the left bank is very hilly, we will start at the highest point, Strahov Monastery, and make our way to the Castle further down.
