Description

Drive down to the South Bohemian Region and get to know more about Czech history en-route. Stop at a village along the way for a coffee break. Visit the Český Krumlov Castle, the gardens and the theatre along with a local guide/historian.

    • Start the tour after meeting your Prague tour guide and depart from Prague no later than 8:00 am.

    • Drive to Český Krumlov, two hours south of Prague. Pass the beautiful countryside along the way, including picturesque farms, villages, and castles.

    • To make the travel more pleasant, stop in a tiny Czech village along the way for a relaxing coffee break.

    • Listen to your guide while who will give you a wonderful historical overview of the rich Czech past to enhance your experience.

    • Arrive in Ćeský Krumlov and take a 90-minute walk with a local Ćeský Krumlov guide or historian (depending on availability).

    • Start the tour from the view of the castle, then visit the expansive gardens and the unique theatre in the round.

    • Try the optional visit to a local historical museum and an observation tower (not included in the tour cost - please inform the tour guide if you would like to add this).

    • Have your lunch and shop for souvenirs.

    • Return to Prague later in the evening and drop-off at your hotel or other location.

  • Please note: To help maximize your experience, you will be accompanied by a local expert or historian (based on availability) for the short walk while in Český Krumlov.
