We will first visit Kourion, an ancient city-state, to admire its Greco-Roman theatre, the beautiful mosaic floors, and the bath complex. Driving west, we will discover the wonderful legendary birthplace of the Goddess of Love and Beauty: Aphrodite's rock. Cyprus has always been known as the 'Island of Aphrodite'. (AΦΡΟΔΙΤΗ=emerging from the foam of the waves). Paphos Archaeological Park is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List for its outstanding ancient remains! Let's admire the unique mosaics of Dionysos and look at the pillar of Saint Paul, the ruins of the enormous Basilica in Cyprus, and the catacombs. Next, you may enjoy a break at the little fishing harbour for strolling, shopping and eating something. On the way back, we'll also stop in the village of Geroskipou (Holy Garden) to see the 1000 years old 5-domed church and taste the homemade sweets Loukoumi Delights.
