  • Day 1 - Chengdu to Leshan to Emeishan expand_more

    • You will first visit Leshan Grand Buddha after arriving. Leshan Grand Buddha is by far the biggest Stone Buddha Statue in the world. It was built around 1200 years ago. It is a stunning artwork from ancient Chinese constructors. 

    • The visit to the Buddha park usually takes about 2 hours of walking, although a shorter boat trip is recommended for this tour as it saves time.

    • After the visit, continue driving to Emeishan and start to walk after a bus ride provided by the park.

    • First, go to the Wannian Temple and start your walking from there. To get to the Wannian Temple, a cable car ride is recommended.

    • After a 4-5 hours walk, reach Xixiang Pond, where you will spend a night in the monastery at Xixiang Pond. The temple provides accommodation with basic amenities.

  • Day 2 - Emeishan Hiking & Back to Chengdu expand_more

    • You will start walking in the morning for 4-5 hours before reaching the summit of Emeishan. Along the way, you may encounter monkeys and see many plantations of different kinds. 

    • The top of Emeishan usually attracts lots of visitors. 

    • After a short stay by the summit of Emeishan, use the cable car and bus to go down to the base of Emeishan and drive back to Chengdu.

    • Tour ends.
