Description

Embark on a biking adventure through the beautiful landscapes spanning Jinghong to Ganlanba. We will pass through the Lancang River, see many Dai villages, and enjoy the countryside vistas. You can stop wherever you wish to take photographs.

  • Day 1: Ride from Jinghong to Ganlanba expand_more

    • Start from Jinghong and move towards Ganlanba; 27 kilometres all the way along Lancang River. There are many Dai villages scattered in Ganlanba that you can see on this trip.

    • Visit the morning market, and then go around villages by bicycle to see their fields, monasteries, fish ponds, home gardens, and to have lunch at noon. 

    • In the afternoon, bicycle through beautiful sceneries towards Ganlanba. 

    We have dinner and stay one night in a Dai house.

  • Day 2: Head back to Jinghong expand_more

    • Start in the morning for the Ganlanba market and see ethnic groups such as Dai, Aini people.

    • Transfer to the opposite shore of the Lancang River by ferry boat. We are now ready for a journey of 30 kilometers back to Jinghong. 

    • Then, go bicycling through Dai and Aini villages. On the way, we will visit a church in a Dai village and also a beautiful reservoir. We will have lunch in a Dai house and come back to Jinghong in the afternoon.

  • If you want to do a 1-day bicycle tour, 3 solutions will go back to Jinghong. Either by bicycle, by a motor tricycle or lorry, or by a boat cruise.
