    • We will start our day by crossing the Chacao channel, which allows us to arrive on the island of Chiloé. Chiloé is an island full of charm and mystery, discovered in 1553 by Francisco de Ulloa and then colonized by Martin Ruiz de Gamboa in 1567. With a history full of difficulties, between trafficking natives for the mining of central Chile then the activity of exporting wood to Peru, the history of the island will not fail to fascinate you, a separate culture full of religious syncretism.
    • After crossing the Chacao Canal by ferry, we will arrive in the town of Ancud and its fort, and we will visit the regional museum of Ancud. Founded in 1976, it has a collection of more than 4,500 pieces over 3 floors and retraces around 6,000 years of the region's history.
    • After our history page, we will resume our journey west to meet the penguins. A magnificent road takes us to Piñihuil, a small bay from where the boats leave to take you to the islands where the penguins used to rest and sunbathe. In 1999 the islands of Piñihuil were declared a National Monument because it is one of the places where you can observe the penguins of Humboldt and Magallanes, along with many other birds in the area. There are only a few places for penguin watching, and Piñihuil is one of them.
    • After our adventure on the waters of the Pacific, you can enjoy lunch in the local kitchens that will offer you typical dishes of the area.
    • Return at the end of the day to Puerto Varas to mark the end of the program.
