Mopan River Kayaking & Xunantunich Tour from San Ignacio expand_more
This site is less than one mile from some lovely rapids of the Mopan River and provides an impressive view of the entire river valley, just 20 min.
Drive from San Ignacio at 8:00 AM.
We have a tour of Xunantunich Mayan Ruins, which will be about 2-3 hrs.
After the tour, we all have a local, homemade lunch of Belizean Cuisine.
After lunch, we will be ready for another exciting, adventurous tour. If you’re new to kayaking or want a low-key outdoor experience, join us on our five popular river trips!
Each trip is geared towards an exciting adventure and is focused on enjoying nature while gliding through the rapids of the Mopan River.
Before the tour, our guide will provide you with a brief introduction regarding the tour, basic water safety, uses of equipment and Kayaks.
Enjoy seeing large Iguanas, Birds, Howler Monkeys, Butterflies, and Exotic Hard Wood Trees.
Our guides are certified and trained with the Belize Disaster and Rescue response team, Wilderness First Aid, Cave Rescue and Surface Water Rescue and Evacuation.

What to bring
Dress comfortably - lightweight clothing (short and a T-shirt with proper footwear (hiking shoes).

Extra dry clothes to change after the tour.
