    • Walk through the new and old town of Veliko Tarnovo. The Bulgarian tour guide will explain the history of the city, especially that of it's historically important buildings and monuments.
    • At Samovodska Charshia (an old market), buy your souvenirs and learn about the crafts.
    • Visit Tsarevets Fortress or "King's City". Tasarevet is also the name of a hill where the military-administrative and church centre of the city. Tsarevets and Trapezitsa formed the "upper city" in which the king, the patriarch, the palace aristocracy and the higher clergy lived.
    • Visit Trapezitsa Fortress, Holy Forty Martyr’s Church, Church of St. Demetrius, Church of Saints Peter and Paul and Church of St. Ivan Rilski. The churches are just down the small river valley between Tsarevets and Trapezitsa Fortresses.
    • Drive to Arbanasi Village. 
    • Go to Church of the Nativity with the most iconic, and with the most beautiful frescoes.
    • Explore Konstantsalieva House, one of the most remarkable and representative monuments of the residential architecture in the village.
    • Have the option to visit Virgin Mary and St Nikolay monasteries. Both of them keep icons that are believed by the locals to have healing powers.
