Meet your tour guide at a predecided location. Start the excursion from the Double Gates (Gosha Gala Gapisi), the major entrance of Old City. Old City or "Icharishahar" in Baku's main and most historic centre is encircled by defensive walls of the fortress. Old City is identified as an open-air museum by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
The first part is the 12th-century medieval era.
The second part is about the 19th and 20th centuries, mostly linked to the era of the oil boom and the era of the Russian Empire.
The third section begins with the Soviet invasion of Azerbaijan and ends with Baku's contemporary days. All the primary spots in the ancient town will be covered during the Baku excursion, like Maiden Tower, Juma Mosque, Shirvansah's Palace.
Proceed to a demonstration outside the ancient town constructed during the oil boom era in the 19th centuries. When the oil boom began in Azerbaijan, oil oligarchs constructed excellent structural houses on the front of the walls of the castle.
Reach the Ismailia building by minivan and get transferred to the Upland area near the Flame towers. Upland Park is Baku's largest park.
