There are many things to do and visit in Cairo, it is the Egyptian capital which was called the City of Contrasts and a city that never sleeps. Cairo is located on the Eastern part of the river Nile, while in front of it on the Western side of Nile, located Giza city. You just cross any bridge on the Nile and make an easy arrival to Giza from Cairo, (Giza & Cairo are a part of what we call Big or Great Cairo ), it is one of the biggest cities in the world, about 22 milion persons live in Cairo.
We can divide things to do in Cairo in 2 parts :
In the first part, we go to visit things inside Big Cairo, day tours, or half day tours.
Second part are things to do from Cairo (1 day tour from Cairo to other cities as going to Alexandria or Fayoum, or more than 1 day tours but starting from Cairo such as El Baharyia oasis tour or Nile cruises or go to Red Sea)

12- Dinner in a Nile cruise by night (Including traditional party)
13 - Sound and light show in front of the Sphinx at Giza pyramids
Things to do in 1 day out of Cairo (departure 7: 00 am return between 5 & 7 pm)
-Day tour to Alexandria to visit Qaitbye fortress, Alexandria library, Muntazah palace & gardens, Roman theatre, The Katakomb tombs, Pompey pillar & Lunch.
- Safari day tour to El Fayoum and Whales valley ( Wadi Hitan )

1- You can visit Alexandria which is in the ex list or in 1 day or 2 days as you wish

4- Nile cruises , travelling from Cairo to Luxor to start 4 nights cruise holiday or travelling from Cairo to Aswan to start 3 night Nile cruise holiday
5- Lake Nasser cruises , so you will fly from Cairo to Aswan to take a lake cruise in Nasser lake to arrive to Abu Simbel
6- El Sokhna hotels ( Red sea vacation ) you can book it starting from 1 nights to 7 nights or more, It is just 2 hours driving from Cairo
