Description

Head to Prizren, the second largest city of Kosovo and explore the mixture of Ottoman and modern architecture styles here as you pass by the Sinan Pasha Mosque and the Fortress with a chance of visiting. Attend a Filigree workshop to learn how a few artists still keep this tradition alive and buy some artwork and jewellery as souvenirs for your friends and family.

    • Meet with your tour guide at the pier/ hotel or your specified meeting place and depart to the border of Kosovo, the second largest city of Kosovo, the birthplace of the Albanian revolution for the foundation of the modern independent Albanian state. 
    • Take a coffee break at the confluence of the two Drini rivers. 
    • Continue further and after the border procedure, drive towards Prizren, a city with mixed ethnic people living together peacefully. Here, the Ottoman architecture style has been mixed with the modern one and makes each visitor fall in love. You can hear the knocking of horses the cold water sounds from the fountain of the main square in the old town's cobbled streets.
    • Start walking through the cobbled streets of the old town, admiring the beauty and the atmosphere in the air. 
    • We may visit Sinan Pasha Mosque, the League of Prizren, the Fortress situated above the city and enjoy the "Symphony of the Mosques" at the praying time. 
    • Visit the Filigree workshop and deal with them about their handmade work. These "silent artists" keep the tradition alive, working and making handmade filigree jewellery of different styles and tastes. Also, there is plenty of delicious local food to try just on the side of the Lumebardhi river.
    • Late afternoon, we'll head back to the pier or your specified place.
