    • Discover the amphitheatre of El Jem, the third largest one and the best-preserved one in the world. 
    • Drive up to the mountains to enjoy the Berber cave dwellings of Matmata, home of Luke Skywalker, unique in North Africa and have lunch there.
    • Go to the Berber hinterland and the Berber villages connecting the sea to the big Sahara desert.
    • Stop in Douz, the gate to the Sahara, to enjoy the sunset on the white dunes (different activities can be recommended on the spot, like a walking tour on the dunes or the camel ride).

    Overnight in a hotel in Douz (4-star).

  • Day 2: Medina of Tozeur - Chebika expand_more
    • Drive through the palm groves of the south to the salt flats, the largest ones in North Africa. 
    • Visit the medina of Tozeur with its outstanding architectural style.
    • Explore the mountain oasis of Chebika with its amazing palm trees, abandoned Berber villages and the canyons of Mides (shooting site of Indiana Jones and Starwars) and drive back to the starting point.
