Itinerary

1. Day 1: Marrakech – Azilal – Ait Bouguemez (180 km)

   • Meet your driver and begin your journey from Marrakech.

   • Visit the scenic Ouzoud Waterfalls near Azilal.

   • Drive through the high-altitude Agdal pastures.

   • Discover the cultural landscapes of the Ait Atta and Ait Bougmez tribes.

   • Arrive in Ait Bouguemez by evening.

   Enjoy dinner and spend the night at a stopover lodge.

2. Day 2: Ait Bouguemez – Todgha – Dades (160 km)

   • Eat breakfast at the lodge.

   • Cross the Ait Imi Pass (2,900 m), then the Ait Ahmed Pass (2,900 m).

   • Admire stunning views over the three surrounding valleys.

   • Descend into the colorful Valley of Roses.

   • Travel along the picturesque Kasbah Road.

   • Arrive in the Dades Valley and explore the Todgha Gorges.

   Dine and rest overnight at the Dades Hotel.

3. Day 3: Dades – Merzouga (265 km)

   • Depart from Dades and head south along the Atlas foothills.

   • Watch the landscape shift from mountains to desert terrain.

   • Reach the Tafilalete palm grove and spot the first sand dunes.

   • Ride a camel into the dunes of Merzouga at sunset.

   Enjoy dinner and sleep under the stars in a desert bivouac.

4. Day 4: Merzouga – Ait Benhaddou (395 km)

   • Wake early and climb the dunes to witness the sunrise.

   • Return to Merzouga for breakfast.

   • Travel through the town of Rissani, a former trade hub.

   • Cross the desert oases of Alnif and Tazarine.

   • Follow the Draa River through Morocco’s longest palm grove.

   • Traverse the Anti-Atlas Mountains and reach Ouarzazate.

   • Continue to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

   • Tour the historic Kasbah in the late afternoon.

   Eat dinner and stay overnight in a local hotel.

5. Day 5: Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech (180 km)

   • Leave Ait Benhaddou and head back toward Marrakech.

   • Drive through the scenic Tizi n Tichka mountain pass.

   • Arrive in Marrakech.

   • Conclude your journey.
