Itinerary

1. Day 01: Marrakech – Zagora

   • Departure from Marrakech: Leave Marrakech and cross the Tichka Pass, located at 2,260 meters above sea level.
   • Visit Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou: Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site, an adobe fortress surrounded by majestic gates and walls.
   • Lunch in Ouarzazate: Enjoy a delicious lunch in Ouarzazate.
   • Drive through Drâa Valley: Travel through the scenic Drâa Valley to reach Zagora.

   Camel Ride and Starry Night

   • 1.5-hour camel ride to the desert bivouac.
   • Watch the desert sunset and spend the night under the stars. (Half board)

2. Day 02: Zagora – Dades Gorges

   • Sunrise and Camel Ride: Admire the sunrise and take a 1.5-hour camel ride back to the minibuses.

   Stop in Ouarzazate

   • Free time to explore Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa."
   • Visit the film studios if time allows.
   • Minibus change.

   Journey to Dades Gorges

   • Pass through Erfoud, Tinghir, Todra Gorges, and the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.
   • Arrive in Dades Gorges and overnight at a hotel on a half-board basis.

3. Day 03: Dades Gorges – Merzouga

   Drive to Merzouga

   • Pass through Nkoub, Tazzarine (lunch stop), Rissani, and Tafilalet Oasis.
   • Arrive at Erg Chebbi in Merzouga.

   Camel Ride and Bivouac Stay

   • Enjoy a camel ride to watch the sunset.
   • Spend the night at a desert bivouac under the stars.

4. Day 04: Merzouga – Marrakech

   • Sunrise and Breakfast: Watch the sunrise over the desert and enjoy breakfast at the bivouac.

   Return to Marrakech

   • Travel via Kalaat M'gouna and the Valley of Roses.
   • Visit Ouarzazate Kasbah and film studios (time permitting).
   • Lunch in Ouarzazate before crossing the Tichka Pass.
   • Arrival in Marrakech: Return to Marrakech by evening.
