Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Marrakech to Imlil and Trek to Base Camp

You will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech and driven for 1.5 hours to Imlil Valley (1,740 m), the starting point of your trek.
Meet your local team, including an English-speaking guide and mule drivers, then enjoy welcome mint tea at a guesthouse.
Follow the guide's map and begin your trek, walking for 2 hours to Chamharouch Shrine for a delicious lunch.
Trek further uphill for another 3 to 4 hours to reach the refuge at the base camp.

Overnight at the refuge.

Day 02

Summit Mount Toubkal and Return to the Refuge

Have an early breakfast at the refuge and start the uphill climb, trekking for about 3 hours on a rocky path.
Reach the summit of Mount Toubkal and enjoy breathtaking views over the High Atlas Mountains.
After a short break, descend back to the base camp, where you'll enjoy lunch and have time to relax.

Overnight again at the refuge.

Day 03

Descend to Imlil and Drive Back to Marrakech

Have breakfast and descend to Imlil via the same route, which will take 4 to 5 hours.
Enjoy lunch at a guesthouse in Imlil before driving back to Marrakech.
Arrive in Marrakech after a 1.5-hour drive.
