Itinerary

1. Day 01: Marrakech – Tichka Pass – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Rose Valley – Dades

   • On this day, we’ll have the opportunity to explore the High Atlas Mountains, traveling from Marrakech to Dades along the famous Road of One Thousand Kasbahs. 
   • We’ll pass through Tizi n’Tichka for a panoramic view of the mountains and continue to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, known for its role in films like Game of Thrones (2011) and Gladiator (2000). 
   • We’ll then head to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert, founded by the French in 1928. 
   • Here, we’ll visit the movie studios and explore impressive kasbahs before continuing to the Rose Valley, which is especially beautiful in May. 
   • Our final stop will be in Dades, where we’ll take in the breathtaking views of the Dades Valley, a stunning river cutting through the Atlas Mountains. We’ll spend the night at a hotel in Dades.

2. Day 02: Dades – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert

   • Not far from Dades, we’ll head to the Todra Gorge (Tinghir), where we’ll marvel at the towering rock walls that change color as the sun rises. These 300-meter-high limestone cliffs, uniquely shaped and only 15 meters apart, create a dramatic and awe-inspiring landscape. 
   • After exploring, we’ll continue our journey through the villages of Tinjdad and Rissani before reaching the Merzouga Desert, where we’ll be mesmerized by the golden dunes of the Sahara. Merzouga offers a variety of exciting activities. 
   • Upon arrival, we’ll embark on a camel ride across the golden sand dunes to our desert camp, where we’ll be greeted with mint tea and dates. 
   • Enjoy the stunning desert landscape, and for those interested, try sandboarding on the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi, or simply relax and watch the breathtaking sunset.
   • As night falls, we’ll return to our luxury camp, a magnificent retreat offering entertainment and comfort. 
   • We’ll enjoy a delicious dinner while listening to traditional Berber music and dancing with the locals. 
   • Later, we’ll retire to our tents, each featuring a king-size bed, private shower, and bathroom, for a restful night under the desert stars.

3. Day 03: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Agdez

   • Today, we’ll rise early to witness the stunning sunrise over the Merzouga Desert. 
   • After breakfast and a shower, we’ll head back to Merzouga village. 
   • On our way to the Draa Valley, we’ll pass through the towns of Anif, Tazarine, and Nkob. 
   • As we continue, we’ll be captivated by the breathtaking Draa Valley, lined with thousands of date palms. We’ll spend the night in Agdez.

4. Day 04: Agdez – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

   • Your journey through Morocco and reconnection with your roots comes to a close today. We sincerely hope you have felt refreshed and enjoyed your experience with us. 
   • After breakfast, we will continue our travels through the Atlas Mountains, heading back to Marrakech for a relaxing evening.
