The itinerary

Day 01

Marrakech to Imlil and Toubkal Refuge Trek

Pick up from your hotel in Marrakech at around 08:00 am.
Head to Imlil, a Berber village located about 65 km south of Marrakech, where the trek will begin. Here, meet the Berber muleteer crew.
Walk through the Berber villages via the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch (2500 m) to reach the mountain hut. Stop here for a picnic lunch.
After lunch, continue walking towards the refuge. A glass of tasty mint tea will be served on arrival, and a hot shower will be available to help you freshen up for the next day. Enjoy the scenic views of the snow-clad mountains.
In the evening, a traditional Moroccan meal will be served for dinner.

Day 02

Early Summit Ascent and Return to Marrakech

Wake up early and have breakfast to escape the full power of the sun at 05:00 am.
Start the ascent at around 05:30 am. In the middle of the climb, stop for a short break for refreshments, including water, oranges, and nuts.
After walking uphill for about 3-4 hours, catch a glimpse of the beauty still to come. Enjoy a picturesque view of the High Atlas Mountains, valleys, and the nearby Berber villages.
Reach the summit and take a 45-minute break to take pictures and enjoy the magnificent views.
Afterwards, begin the journey back to the hut, where lunch will be served.
Climb down and return to the hotel.
