Marrakech to Dades Gorges via Aït Benhaddou
After breakfast, pick up by our English-speaking driver.
Drive through Tizi n'Tichka Pass, the boundary between the Western and Central High Atlas Mountains, with stunning views over the Imouzzar and Taddart Berber villages as well as the zigzagging road of Tichka.
Continue via the Telouet Valley with a short visit to Pacha Glaoui's abandoned kasbah.
Travel along the Ounila Valley to arrive at Aït Benhaddou.
Stop for lunch.
Visit the magical ksars of this place, a true Moroccan UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site is also known as a picture and movie location, where several international films were shot, including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Kundun, and Alexander. In total, about 43 films have used this location. Enjoy the architecture of the buildings, which are about four centuries old. The place was once used as a trade center for caravans coming from Toubouktou and heading to Marrakech and the whole north of Morocco.
After the visit, continue via Ouarzazate.

Drive along the Road of 1000 Kasbahs and pass through Skoura, Kelaa Mgouna, and Boumalen Dades.
