The itinerary

Day 01

Marrakech to Aït Benhaddou, Ouarzazate and Zagora Desert Camp

• Your private driver for the Marrakech desert tour will pick you up at around 8:00 a.m. from your hotel in Marrakech.
• The journey begins with a drive through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Col du Tichka, Morocco's highest road pass at 2,260 m altitude.
• Then continue to Aït Benhaddou, one of Morocco's oldest and most magnificent kasbahs.
• You will stop here for lunch at a local eatery.
• After that, travel directly to Zagora through the Draa Valley, Morocco's longest valley and one of its richest in dates.
• You will arrive in Zagora after passing through various Berber communities.
• From here, ride a camel to the desert camp, where you will have dinner and spend the night in a Sahara desert camp.

Day 02

Zagora Sunrise, Draa Valley and Return to Marrakech

• After watching the sunrise in the desert, ride camels back to Zagora to meet the 4x4 truck that will take you to Ouarzazate via the Draa Valley and Agdez, where you will stop for lunch.
• Then pass through Tizi n'Tichka and arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.
