2-Day Zagora Desert Tour from Marrakech with Camel Ride and Camp

Depart from Marrakech and cross the Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Stop to visit the argan oil cooperative before continuing to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ksar Aït Ben Haddou.

After lunch at a local restaurant, pass by the Anti-Atlas Mountains, the Berber villages of Agdez, and the amazing Draa Valley with its valleys of palm trees.

Arrive in Zagora in the early evening and prepare for departure by camel into the desert to see the sunset from the top of the dunes. Enjoy a traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious mint tea, and listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars in the amazing Sahara Desert.

Spend the night in a traditional nomad tent.

Rise early to see the spectacle of sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara before making your way back to the Zagora hotel for breakfast and a shower.

Return via the Draa Valley to Ouarzazate to visit Taourirt Kasbah and have lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
