Marrakech to Dades Canyon via Aït Benhaddou
Make an early morning departure from Marrakech to cross the Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, with a short stop for coffee and a visit to the argan oil cooperative.
Stop for lunch at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ksar Aït Ben Haddou, the most famous ksar in Morocco.
After lunch, continue through the Skoura Oasis, where numerous ancient kasbahs stand among the palm trees.
From here, the route takes you through Kela'a M'gouna, the Valley of Roses, with a stop to see cosmetics locally made from the valley's abundant roses.
Continue to Dades Canyon, where you will stay overnight in a hotel by the river.
