3-Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour via Aït Ben Haddou

• Depart from Marrakech and travel over the stunning High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass.

• Stop to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes over the valley and view local Berber villages.

• In the afternoon, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Ben Haddou and have lunch nearby.

• Depart for Ouarzazate.

• Visit the Dadès Valley, passing by the famous Valley of the Roses, which blooms in April and May.

Spend the night in the Gorge of Dadès.

• After breakfast, continue towards Todgha Gorges - one of the most beautiful and impressive canyons in the area, and a destination for climbers in Morocco.

• From Todgha Gorges, drive through the palm groves and oases on the way to Merzouga.

• Pass through Erfoud, the Moroccan fossil capital, then continue to Erg Chebbi, the sand sea.

• Follow the track of the ancient caravan route to Agdez and the oldest kasbah in the valley, Kasbah Tamnougalte.

• Return to Marrakesh by the evening.
