Dublin City Centre Viking and Medieval Walking Tour
The tour will begin on Fishamble Street at Darkey Kelly's pub, opposite Christ Church Cathedral.
This tour brings to life the events that shaped this city, from Viking raids to Strongbow and his Anglo-Norman invasion of 1169-70.
Further, we will learn about the Anglo-Norman effects on the city and trace some of the old Medieval walls of Dublin.
Major landmarks, buildings, and statues of Dublin will also be explored. Places of interest and stops include Fishamble Street, Christ Church Cathedral, St. Audeon's Church, Dublin Castle, O'Connell Street, Grafton Street, the General Post Office, Temple Bar, Merrion Square, and St. Stephen's Green.
