Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Marrakech to Dades Valley via Aït Benhaddou

Pick up at 8:30 in the morning from your riad or hotel in Marrakech and depart for Dades, crossing the High Atlas Mountains.
Stop at Telouet Kasbah and then continue to the village of Aït Benhaddou.
Visit its famous kasbah, a fortified area inside a walled town.
Arrive in Ouarzazate for lunch.
Continue to Skoura, where we will stop at another kasbah called Amredyle.
Cross the Roses Valley and arrive in the evening at Dades Valley.

Dinner and accommodation in Kasbah Chez Pierre.

Day 02

Dades Valley to Merzouga and Berber Nomad Camp

Have breakfast and continue the tour to the Sahara Desert, passing by Todra Gorges, where we will walk by the river, and then continue to Erfoud to visit the fossil cooperatives.
Continue to Merzouga (Sahara Desert), where you will be welcomed with mint tea.
Ride your camels from the hotel to the nomad camp in the middle of the dunes.
Have dinner, enjoy local music with drums, and watch the stars.

Dinner and overnight in a Berber nomad camp in the heart of the desert under the stars.

Day 03

Sahara Sunrise and Journey to Ouarzazate

Get up early to see the beautiful sunrise near the border between Morocco and Algeria.
Return by camel to the hotel, then take a shower and have breakfast.
Continue the tour towards Ouarzazate through Rissani. Visit the traditional market (souk) and Alnif.
Have lunch, then move on to the Draa Valley, the biggest valley of palm groves in Morocco.
Arrive in Ouarzazate in the evening and transfer to the riad.

Dinner and overnight in Riad Dar Chamaa.

Day 04

Ouarzazate, Taourirt Kasbah, and Return to Marrakech

Visit Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate and then visit Ouarzazate Kasbah, where many films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator by Ridley Scott, Black Hawk Down, Oliver Stone's Alexander the Great, Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven, and Sahara with Penelope Cruz were shot.
Leave the city in the direction of Marrakech, crossing the Atlas Mountains again via the Tizi n'Tichka pass.
Stop at some Argan oil cooperatives.
Arrive in the evening in Marrakech, transfer to your riad or hotel, and end the tour.
