Living History Walk Through Dublin

  • Stop 1: Meet at the Molly Malone statue, just around the corner from one of the main shopping streets in this part of Dublin City, and find out what Dublin's first lady was famous for.

  • Stop 2: Explore Powerscourt Town Centre, a famous medieval house from the 1700s that has been renovated back to its former style. It now houses many cafes, Irish designer shops, restaurants, galleries, and much more.

  • Stop 3: Grafton Street is one of Dublin's most famous shopping streets, with many shops, cafes, and boutiques, while St Stephen's Green Park and a shopping centre are close by.

  • Stop 4: Visit Trinity College, one of the oldest universities in Dublin, dating back to the 1500s. Find out about some famous characters who attended and learn about the famous Book of Kells.

  • Stop 5: Temple Bar is one of the city's unique cultural quarters. You can shop to your heart's content, have a drink and some food, and listen to traditional Irish music in many of the pubs. It is a lovely place during the day and a lively place when the sun goes down.

  • Stop 6: Discover Viking Medieval Dublin and find out where the Vikings first settled in the city, along with stories of how they lived and what their daily lives were like.

  • Stop 7: Visit Christ Church Cathedral, which is over 1,000 years old, and hear the many stories that make this cathedral famous.

  • Stop 8: End at the Darkey Kelly Pub, where you will hear about its famous owner, Darkey Kelly, and her gruesome past.

  • We end the tour here with a drink or snack.
