The itinerary

Day 01

Drive through the High Atlas Mountains to Dades Valley

Meet your tour guide at the agreed place in Marrakech and travel southeast to the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, with far-reaching views from the mountains.
Visit the ancient High Atlas Berber villages and a surprise UNESCO World Heritage Site. Have lunch at a local restaurant in the kasbah.
Continue to Dades Valley for an overnight stay at a hotel or riad.

Day 02

Camel Riding and Sandboarding in Merzouga Desert

Have breakfast and head towards Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way.
Pass through Todra Gorges, Tinghir, Tinejdad, and Erfoud, where you will begin to feel the start of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet.
Reach the hotel in Merzouga. After relaxing for a few minutes, take some of your luggage in a small bag - just the necessities for the night in the desert - and leave the rest at the hotel.
Ride camels on an adventure across the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. This is a golden opportunity to take great pictures of the sunset and sunrise.
Head to the highest sand dune for sandboarding and to watch the sunset. Enjoy drumming music in the middle of the Sahara at your tent.

Day 03

Sunrise in Erg Chebbi and Journey to Fes

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise from the top of the dunes in Erg Chebbi and have breakfast. After these joyful moments, ride your camel back to the hotel, where you can have a shower.
Depart for Errachidia via Erfoud, Aoufous, and the Ziz Valley, then stop to overlook the Oasis of Aoufous in the Tafilalte region.
Continue to Midelt across the Tizi N'talghamt Pass and have a lunch break.
Reach Fes, the medieval city, through the cedar forest near Azrou and the Middle Atlas Mountains, with the possibility of seeing Barbary apes. You may also stop in Ifrane before arriving in Fes.
Drop off in Fes.
