Itinerary

1. Marrakech - Imlil (1740) - Toubkal Refuge (3200m) : 6 hours trek

   1. Morning - travel to Imlil the starting point of our trek by high quality minibus, 4x4 or Taxi.
      Here we start our trek passing by ‘Sidi Chamharouch’, high up a narrowing river valley where 2 rivers converge. 

   2. We will have lunch close to this shrine, which regularly attracts groups of religious pilgrims. 

   3. After lunch we continue to Toubkal Mountain Refuge. 

   4. After a well earnt dinner of traditional Berber fayre we spend the night camping nearby, or in the Refuge itself. 

2. Toubkal Refuge(3200m) – Toubkal summit (4167m)- Imlil – Marrakech : 9 hours

   1. Early departure after breakfast for the ascent of Toubkal. 

   2. At the summit we will enjoy fantastic 360 degree panoramic views of the Atlas mountains, the peaks of the Anti-Atlas including its highest point, the Siroua (3304m) and the Haouez plains.

   3. Time to enjoy the views, take photographs (including the impressive summit metal ‘cairn’) and relax a little before we begin our descent. We return to the Refuge, past Sidi Chamharouch shrine and back to Imlil Village. 

   4. We then return to Marrakech by minibus, 4x4 or Taxi.

   5. If required we will book your hotel room & dinner in bustling Marrakech.
