Day 01
Agafay Desert Camel Ride and Sunset Tea
- You will begin with a meeting with the driver, who will pick you up from your accommodation (hotel or riad) and drive you southwest of Marrakech through olive and orange farms to the Agafay Rocky Desert. The drive takes about 45 minutes.
- Upon arrival, meet your camel caravan and dress like a nomad in a blue robe and headscarf.
- After taking photos in your new outfit and being introduced to your camels, start a camel ride across the amazing landscapes of the arid terrain, which may show green patches during the rainy spring season, with splendid views of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains on the horizon.
- Just in time for sunset, make your way to a high plateau, where you will enjoy a cup of mint tea while watching the changing colours of the sunset on the horizon.
- Afterwards, rejoin your driver for the return to Marrakech, with drop-off at your hotel or riad, or any location of your choice in the city centre. This unique experience offers moments of peace and quiet through beautiful landscapes with rare panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and the hills surrounding the red city.
