Oualidia Coast and Scenic Drive to Safi
- From Marrakech, take a 3-hour drive to reach the city of Oualidia, a peaceful seaside town located on the Atlantic coast midway between Essaouira and Casablanca. This quiet and charming town deserves its nickname, the "Blue Pearl of Morocco".
- Upon arriving in Oualidia, explore the wonders of its coastline and take a walk along its sandy beaches. Enjoy the tranquillity of this beautiful coast lined with cliffs, then discover the lovely corniche stretching over 12 km and admire its breathtaking beach views.
- Then, let yourself be tempted by oysters and other seafood for which Oualidia is renowned, enjoyed under an umbrella at the edge of the beach.
- Enjoy a ride through the small town and admire its charm in the evening.
- Visit the old Kasbah of the Sultan and its ruins, which can be seen from the upper part of the city. The place is wonderful and guarantees a complete change of scenery.
- We will then take the coastal road towards Safi for even more scenery, crossing a landscape of striking contrasts. This is an unlikely meeting place between sheep, camels, and flamingos, where the desert meets the ocean alongside market gardens and salt marshes.
