Trip to Oualidia and Safi from Marrakech
- From Marrakech, take a 3-hour drive to reach the city of Oualidia, a peaceful seaside town located on the Atlantic coast midway between Essaouira and Casablanca. This quiet and charming town deserves its nickname "Blue Pearl of Morocco".
- Arriving in Oualidia, we will explore its coast's wonders and take a walk on its sandy beaches. You will enjoy, thus, the tranquillity of this beautiful coast lined with cliffs. Explore the lovely corniche stretching over 12 km and enjoy a nice setting and breathtaking views of the beach.
- Then, let yourself try oysters and other seafood that make Oualidia under an umbrella at the edge of the beach.
- Enjoy a ride in the small town and admire its charm in the evening.
- Visit the old Kasbah of the Sultan and its ruins that can be seen from the upper part of the city. The place is wonderful and will guarantee you a total change of scenery.
- We will take the coastal road towards Safi for even more scenery, where you will cross a landscape with striking contrasts! This is an unlikely meeting place between sheep, camels, and flamingos between the desert and the ocean, from market gardens to salt marshes.
