Full-Day Trip to the Ouzoud Waterfalls from Marrakech
- Take a guided full-day trip to the Ouzoud Waterfalls, one of the natural wonders of Morocco. From Marrakech, travel 150 km along roads that wind through magnificent landscapes dominated by the red of the earth, the dark green of the thuyas, and the pale grey-green of the olive trees. Once in Ouzoud, it is also possible to take a boat trip to the falls. The most famous waterfalls in Morocco are well worth the journey. About 110 meters high, the water bounces down several levels and sends fine droplets into the air. The waterfalls are almost always highlighted by a beautiful rainbow.
- At the Ouzoud Waterfalls site, you will find many small restaurants serving traditional Moroccan cuisine. Or, at the foot of the falls, you can sip mint tea while watching the carousel of monkeys and admiring the rainbow over the waterfalls.
- You can also cross the river by the wooden bridge or, with a few dirhams, take one of the small boats. A little kitsch and humorously named "Le France", "Le Phocéa", or "Le Titanic", they will bring you very close to the falls. The cascades of Ouzoud have all the charm needed for a lovely day out. It is no wonder that Ouzoud means "Sweet" in Berber.
