Marrakech, High Atlas Mountains, Aït Benhaddou and Dades Valley
- We will pick you up from your riad or hotel in Marrakech and drive toward the High Atlas Mountains, North Africa's highest mountain range, enjoying the beautiful scenery of fertile valleys along the way.
- We will cross the Tizi N'Tichka Pass at 2,260 m, then drive through dramatic Berber villages alongside the Ounila Valley to reach the famous Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. This fortified village has buildings that mostly date back to the 12th century, and the site was recognized by UNESCO in 1987.
- The kasbah has also served as a backdrop for many international movies and series such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
- We will escort you through this authentic traditional site and walk you along its small mudbrick alleys to reach the granaries, the most fortified spot in the kasbah.
- We will have lunch in a local restaurant beside the kasbah and then continue to Ouarzazate, known as the cinema capital of Morocco for its film studios and movie sets.
- In the center of the city, we will visit one of the ancient kasbahs, Kasbah Taourirt. It is a pleasant stop before we continue toward the Valley of Roses through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.
- Next, we will drive through the Valley of Roses to reach the Dades Valley, a range of dramatic landscapes filled with fields of wheat, walnuts, and figs.
- At the end of the day, we will drop you at your riad or hotel in the Dades Valley.
