3-Day Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech with Camel Camp Stay

• Departure from your riad or hotel at 8 am for the High Atlas, crossing the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass to reach the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
• Visit the Kasbah and have lunch on site.
• Continue the excursion towards the Merzouga desert via the road through Ouarzazate.
• Visit Kasbah Taourirt.
• Take the road to Skoura and the Thousand Kasbahs, crossing the Valley of Roses before joining the Dadès Valley and the Kasbah of Ait Youl.
• See the Dadès Gorges, then overnight at a hotel in Dadès.

• After breakfast, depart for the Toudgha Gorges.
• Continue the journey through the palm groves of Tinejdad and arrive in Toudgha. Have lunch on site.
• Resume the circuit to Erfoud with a stop to visit a fossil production workshop.
• Continue on the Merzouga track towards the dunes of Erg Chebbi. There, replace the 4x4 with camels to cross the dunes and spend the night in the desert.

Dinner and overnight at camp in a tent.

• Wake up in the morning to watch the sunrise in the desert.
• Return by camel to the hostel.
• After breakfast, depart for the city of Rissani (Tafilalet, capital of the ancient Alawite sultans and seat of the Alawite dynasty).
• Then resume the road to Alnif, the oasis of Tazarine, and N'Kob. Have lunch on site.
• Continue to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley and the Berber village of Agdez, passing the Col de Ait Saoune at 1660 meters above sea level.
• Continue on the road to Marrakech, crossing the Berber villages of the High Atlas.
• Arrive in Marrakech in the evening.
