Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Marrakech to Dades Gorges via the High Atlas

Depart in the morning from your hotel in Marrakech.
Cross the High Atlas and Tichka Pass (2260 m), enjoying beautiful landscapes of mountains and Berber villages.
Stop for lunch in Ouarzazate, famous for its studios.
Continue to Skoura and visit the Skoura palm grove and the beautiful Amridile Kasbah.
Reach Dades Gorges through the Roses Valley and Dades Valley.

Day 02

Dades and Todra Gorges to Merzouga Desert Camp

After a delicious breakfast, head towards Dades and Todra Gorges.
Follow the road to visit Khorbat Ksar and the Berber Museum. Stop for lunch.
Passing through Erfoud, reach the highest dunes in Morocco. A camel will take you to the top of the dunes, where you can witness the beautiful sunset.
After sunset, return by camel to your camp.

Dinner and an overnight stay under tents at the foot of Erg Chebbi.

Day 03

Merzouga through the Draa Valley to Ouarzazate

Travel along the Saghro and cross a rocky desert to arrive beside the Draa Valley, in Agdz within the Draa palm grove.
Follow the old caravan road to reach the old ksar of Tamnougalt. In the afternoon, enjoy a walk to visit this wonderful place.

Night stay in Ouarzazate.

Day 04

Aït Benhaddou and Telouet Kasbah to Marrakech

Have breakfast and take the road to arrive early in Aït Benhaddou, the most beautiful ksar of Southern Morocco, registered by UNESCO.
Continue along the Salt Road through beautiful Berber villages and the Onila Valley to reach the beautiful Telouet Kasbah, where the old caravans stopped. Visit the Kasbah and stop for lunch.
Head back to Marrakech via Tizi n'Tichka.
