4-Day Family Trek in Azzaden Valley with Berber Villages

From Imlil (1740 m) to L´azib Tamsoult (2490 m): 5-hour walk.

• From Imlil centre, we will walk to explore Arghen and Mzikk villages, Berber villages with old houses. Moving forward, we take a path to l´zib n´mzikk (1900 m), on to Adrar Adj (3129 m).
• Start walking uphill to pass to Tizi n´mzikk (2489 m), a place that offers breathtaking views; have lunch here.
• Complete the route by taking a stroll through juniper trees to reach L´azib n´tamsoult, which will take about two more hours. Behold the Ighouliden waterfall. We will spend the night here.

From L´azib Tamsoult to Id Aissa: 4-hour walk.

• After breakfast at 8:00 AM, we will go to Azaden valley. It is a Berber valley with friendly and hospitable people, more than 98% of whom work in agriculture and 2% in tourism. They have nut and apple trees, cherries, corn, as well as vegetables, potatoes, onion, and radish in wintertime.
• On this path, we will pass through Tizi Oussem Berber village and Id Aissa, where we will have lunch. After lunch, we will go to explore Azadn Valley and then return to Id Aissa for the night.

From Id Aissa to Aguersioual: 6-hour walk.

• From Id Aissa, we will climb to Tizi Oudid (2219 m). Begin the day at 8:00 AM, go through juniper trees to Tizi Oudid, and continue to Matat village after lunch.
• Proceed to Aguersioual village in Imlil valley, where we will say goodbye to the mules and spend the last night.

From Aguersioual to Marrakech: 2 hours.

• Have lunch at Imlil in nature's lap, then proceed to your accommodation in Marrakech.
