The itinerary

Day 01

Dublin to Killarney via the Rock of Cashel

  • On arrival, receive a warm welcome to Ireland from your friendly driver, who will escort you to your awaiting vehicle. We will build the itinerary around your preferred time of arrival, allowing you full flexibility. Depending on your arrival time, we can start your vacation with a Full Irish Breakfast in Dublin City in Temple Bar, helping you immerse yourself straight away in Irish culture.

  • Depart from Dublin and travel south through Ireland's Ancient East. En route, we stop at The Rock of Cashel, a historic site perched on an impressive hill with numerous ancient buildings, including a round tower, historic cathedral, and a Celtic high cross - a fabulous photo opportunity not to be missed.

  • Leave the Rock of Cashel and make your way to Killarney. Take some time in the evening to explore and enjoy Ireland's most famous tourist town, with its great shops, traditional pubs, and award-winning restaurants.

Day 02

Scenic Ring of Kerry and Kenmare

  • Explore one of the highlights of your trip to Ireland - the famous Ring of Kerry. This driving route along the Wild Atlantic Way showcases the magnificent landscape of County Kerry, including dramatic mountain and lake scenery, the majestic Atlantic Ocean, and quaint villages along the way. We begin the day by stopping at one of the great attractions on the Ring of Kerry, Kerry Woollen Mills, where you can enjoy a guided tour of the factory and shop for authentic Irish crafts and gifts.

  • Continue along the Ring of Kerry with numerous photo opportunities and a visit to Waterville, the place where Charlie Chaplin loved to spend his vacations. For golf enthusiasts on board, there is also the opportunity to play a round of golf at the excellent facilities in Waterville.

  • Proceed to the bustling town of Kenmare, a great stop for a late lunch and to enjoy some more shopping.

  • Return to Killarney for some evening entertainment. If desired, The Celtic Steps dance show is an experience to remember.

Day 03

Killarney to Galway via Adare and Optional Stops

  • Depart the bustling town of Killarney for the pretty heritage town of Adare, where traditional Irish thatched cottages make for a great photo opportunity.

  • From Adare, make your way to Galway, the 2020 City of Culture. Depending on your interests, we can include the famous Cliffs of Moher in your itinerary or, alternatively for history buffs, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, a 15th-century castle. A late lunch in Doolin for the Cliffs of Moher option, or at the famous Durty Nellies Tavern for the Bunratty Castle option, is also a great stop.

  • Transfer to the bustling city of Galway, where you can enjoy the excellent restaurants and nightlife in the evening.

Day 04

Whiskey Distilleries and Return to Dublin

  • In the morning, before making your way into Dublin, we recommend a stop at Tullamore Dew Whiskey Distillery. Here, you can find great Irish whiskey on display and might even discover a bottle or two that you would like to take home with you.

  • You also have the opportunity to visit another of Ireland's favourite and globally renowned whiskey distilleries, Kilbeggan Distillery. If you wish, this experience can include a unique Irish whiskey tasting and distillery tour.

  • Transfer to Dublin Airport or to a hotel of your choice in Dublin.
