Marrakech to Imlil, Kik Plateau, Lalla Takerkoust, and Agafay Desert

  • Meet your guide in Marrakech and visit an argan oil co-operative and a traditional Berber souk (market) on your way to the Atlas Mountains.
  • Arrive in Imlil and go for a trek by foot or camel to Armed, the highest and largest village in Imlil Valley. You will cross several waterfalls and the hamlets of Ait Mizan, Targa, and Imola.
  • Stop at the isolated village of Tamatert to view ancient irrigated barley fields, corn, and vegetables, surrounded by cherry and walnut trees.
  • Have your traditional Moroccan lunch in Ait Souka Village with a Berber family.
  • Next, head to Kik Plateau, at 1,800 meters altitude, offering spectacular 360-degree views of the valley of alpine flowers.
  • Visit Lalla Takerkoust Lake. Have tea and enjoy the views of the lake.
  • Drive to the Agafay Desert to see the tranquillity of the countryside.
