Description
On this Merzouga Desert trek, see the magical beauty of scenic landscapes and Berber villages between Marrakech and Ouarzazate. Halt at the UNESCO world heritage site Ait Benhaddou and go on a camel ride in the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara desert. Ride along the Tamnalt Hills to Dades gorge to discover the beauty of these landscapes in Merzouga.

Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Dades Gorge
Meet your Moroccan tour guide at your Raid/Hotel and proceed towards Ouarzazate, through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains.
Enjoy beautiful landscapes with different colours and the Berber villages along the way between Marrakech and Ouarzazate, the doorway to the Sahara desert.
Visit the UNESCO world heritage site Ait Benhaddou. Kasbah is one of many locations that served as a natural decoration for many movies shot in the area, such as 'Lawrence of Arabia' and 'Jesus of Nazareth'.
Take a walk and cross the dried river to discover UNESCO Heritage Ait Benhaddou and dominate the Kasbahs once you get to the top of the hill.
Afterwards, head directly to Ouarzazate, and continue to Skoura palm grove, the valley of the roses, the centre of Moroccan roses and rose products.
Continue via the strange rock creation of Tamnalt Hills to Dades gorge, carved over centuries by the Dades River. Stay overnight in the Dades gorge, lined by the red and mauve rock in the heart of Dades Gorge.

Day 2: Todra Gorge - Erfoud - Errissani - Merzouga
Take the road to the second Gorge via Berber villages of the Dades valley; Todra Gorge free time for a short visit along the canyons of about 300 m high, a preferred place by mountain climbers.
Afterwards, leave for Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara desert and have lunch on the way before you arrive at Erfoud.
Once you arrive at the hotel near the dunes, have a cup of mint tea. Hop on the hump for a camel ride for 1h at sunset to get to the camp's oasis and see the sunset.
Spend the night in a nomadic tent under shooting stars. Have dinner to the tunes of Berber music in the camp.

Day 3: Merzouga - Ouarzazate - Tizi Ntichka - Marrakech
After sunrise, ride a camel back to the hotel.
Have your breakfast and after a quick shower, return to Ouarzazate, over the high Atlas Mountains.
Arrive in Marrakech in the evening around 8 pm (approximately 10 hr).
