Day by day
Travel from Marrakech to Imlil (1,780 m) for a 6-hour trek to the Azzaden Valley. Along the way, witness the Tizi N'Mzik Pass at 2450 m, the refuge at Azib 'n'Tamsoult, and the Lghouliden Waterfalls.
Walk for about 5 hours before spending the night in a tent at Azib 'n' Tamsoult.
Hike from Azzaden Valley to the Toubkal Refuge via the Aguelzim Mountain Pass at 3560 m.
Enjoy lunch with spectacular views of the Atlas Mountain Range.
Walk for 7 hours before spending the night in a tent near the Toubkal Refuge (Neltner Hut).
Begin the ascent to Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in Northern Africa, with your local tour guide. The route takes you to the south cirque, crossing the stream above the refuge, where the walking is relatively straightforward, although the scree and altitude make it quite challenging. The views along the way make the journey worthwhile.
Proceed to witness breathtaking vistas across the surrounding landscape. From here, enjoy unrestricted views in every direction, from the Marrakesh plains to the High Atlas in the north, and the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara in the south.
Retrace your steps as you descend the mountain and head back towards Imlil.
Walk for 9-10 hours before returning to Marrakech.

For Atlas trekking, you need to prepare yourself for walking in any type of mountain region. It might be warm and sunny during the day, but the weather can quickly change from sunshine to snow and cold winds, especially from autumn through late spring.
