2-Day Trek from Marrakech to Imlil with Tacheddirt Gîte Stay

Start the trek with mint tea as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Reach the pass visible to your left as you look up the valley.

Traverse the villages of Ait Souka and Tamatert, then follow forested trails up to the Tizi n' Tamatert pass at 2,270 meters. Enjoy the breathtaking views stretching both behind and ahead of you.

Pause at the pass, savour freshly squeezed orange juice from a small kiosk, and take in the panoramic scenery. The route then descends to the valley floor for a lunch break.

Continue trekking up the valley to Tacheddirt, where you will spend the night in a local gîte.

Start the trek again with your Moroccan tour guide.

Follow the valley, passing several Berber villages, and enjoy the opportunity to see local buildings, people, and their lifestyles up close as they go about their farming and daily routines, feeding animals and tending crops.

Continue along the route as it winds uphill to Tizi n'Aguersioual. The views are exceptional here as you stand between the two valleys from this high point.

The trek then descends along the mountainside to the roadside village of Aguersioual, where your transport will be waiting. Lunch will be served in the valley by the river.

Return to Marrakech or stay nearby at a guesthouse in Imlil or another village.
