2-Day Zagora Desert Tour from Marrakech with Aït Benhaddou

• Meet your Moroccan tour guide at the agreed-upon location in Marrakech city and begin the tour. The trip will commence in an air-conditioned 4×4 vehicle. On the way, you will pass through Tizi n'Tichka pass near the High Atlas mountains.

• Visit the World Heritage site of Aït Benhaddou in Ouarzazate. This is a famous film shooting location and therefore should not be missed. Many scenes of The Last Temptation of Christ were filmed here.

• Stop at a kasbah (medina or fortress) for lunch.

• Continue on to the desert city of Ouarzazate. If you are interested, you can make a quick stop at Taourirte Kasbah, where people from the Atlas, Drâa and Dadès Valleys used to gather for trading since early times.

• Pass through the green oasis of Agdz and Drâa Valley towards Zagora.

• Meet your camel caravan and set off on a camel ride into the Zagora Desert. Enjoy sand dune views on your way and rest at the desert camp under starry skies.

Overnight stay.

• Begin the last day of your trip with gorgeous sunrise views early in the morning.

• Have breakfast at the desert camp and be ready for your camel ride back to Zagora town.

• Stop for refreshments and lunch in Ouarzazate. If interested, you can explore this city.

• Drop off at your accommodation in Marrakech in the evening.
