Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Marrakech to Zagora

   • Meet and get picked from your riad or hotel in Marrakech by your Moroccan tour guide followed by driving to south-east, crossing many small and dispersed villages on the way.

   • Reach the chain of Atlas Mountains and the highest pass, Tizi N-Tichka (2,160 m), and stop at one of the terraces in Tichka.

   • Cross several Berber villages perched in the mountains and hills, to arrive in Ouarzazate and visit the beautiful Kasbah of Taourirt, home to former Caid Pacha Glaoui.

   • See the Museum of Cinema in Ouarzazate, which is a notable film-making location before driving through the beautiful valleys to reach Agdez and appreciate the view of palmeraie from a high point, upon arrival.

   • Have a delicious lunch at Kasbah in Tamnougal, which has a nice terrace facing the palm grove followed by continuing to the city of Zagora to ride camels to go to the bivouac in the dunes along with witnessing the majestic sunset and taking memorable photos on the way.

   • Gather for a mint tea session to get to know each other and spend the night in a desert camp after enjoying a home-made dinner along with a session of singing and dancing.

2. Day 2 - Ait Ben Haddou Village Visit & Departure

   • Ride the camels back to get picked in a car at the end of the paved road. 

   • Leave Zagora and head straight to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou to have lunch before exploring the site and returning to Marrakech.
