Marrakech to Toubkal Refuge via Imlil and Sidi Chamharouch
Pick-up from your hotel in Marrakech around 8:00 AM. Drive south for 65 kilometres with your Moroccan tour guide to reach Imlil, a Berber village and the starting point of the trek.
Meet the Berber muleteer crew.
Let an experienced mountain Moroccan tour guide lead you on a walk through the Berber villages via the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch (2500 m) to reach the mountain hut.
Stop for a picnic lunch.
Continue towards the Toubkal Refuge (3200 m).
Reach the refuge and enjoy a glass of tasty mint tea, followed by a hot, relaxing shower.
In the evening, savour a traditional Moroccan meal prepared for dinner.
During the summer months, there is an option to spend the night in a tent.
