Description
Commence on a trek from Marrakech to scale the Toubkal, the highest mountains in North Africa at 4167 m. Take this stunning 3-day trek in the High Atlas Mountains through a variety of landscapes, from lush valleys to barren rock. Pass through colourful Berber villages, over nice mountain passes, slowly ascending to the top of Mount Toubkal!
Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech to Imlil 1800m
Set off on an hour trek out of Imlil Valley and into the Azzaden Valley. Pass Tizi Muzik after continuing to the Tamsoult azib.
Visit the highest waterfalls in the Atlas mountains and return for the night in the refuge Tamsoult (2500m).

Day 2: Tamsoulte to Tizi n Ouguelzim 3600 m to Refuge Toubkal 3200m
Climb up Tizi n Ouguelzim (2600m). Enjoy incredible views around the High Atlas mountains and Berbers valleys.
Walk down to the Toubkal refuge for overnight. It is a seven-hour walk.

Day 3: Refuge Toubkal to Summit 4167m to Imlil to Marrakech
Climb Mt. Toubkal from where clouds can be seen. Have a wonderful view over the Atlas range and the Sahara desert.
Then along the way, back down past the refuge and trek back down to Imlil, and leave for Marrakech.
