Hiking At Atlas Mountains
Begin the trip from Marrakech. Drive for 2 hours up the Moulay Brahim Gorges and the Berber village of Asni.
Continue to Imlil Crossing, a vibrantly green valley that stays fresh and lush even during the hottest days of the summer.
Head to Imlil, a small village on the foothills of the highest mountains in Morocco Toubkal mountain. Imlil is the centre to hire mountain guides and mules due to its unique position and its connection to several Berber villages. It's the beginning point of treks and hikes up Toubkal mountain.
Arrive in Imlil and start riding on mules for around 40 minutes towards the south to the Berber village of Aroumd (Aremd) (1843 m), set in the upper foothills of the Western High Atlas mountains.
Have traditional lunch in a Berber house in the village of Aroumd.
Embark on a short walk before you return to Marrakech.
Take a tea break before walking and riding back to Marrakech.
