3-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fez with Erg Chebbi Camel Trek

• Get picked up at 08:00 am and travel from Marrakech to the Dades Gorges across the Tizi n'Tichka Atlas Pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains and the traditional High Atlas Berber villages.

• Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site and have lunch at one of the restaurants at the foothills of the kasbahs.

• Continue to Dades Gorges through Skoura and Rose Valley.

Spend the night in a traditional kasbah in Dades Gorges.

• After breakfast, drive from Dades Gorges to Erg Chebbi at Merzouga.

• See the Berber villages scattered along the way.

• Pass through Todra Gorges, Tenghir, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet.

• Continue to a hotel in Merzouga. After relaxing for a few minutes, take some of your luggage in a small bag - just what is necessary for the night in the desert - and leave the rest of your luggage at the hotel.

• Ride camels on the Erg Chebbi dunes, with a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise.

• On reaching the camp, walk to the highest dunes for sandboarding and enjoy the sunset.

Spend the night in a camp (Berber nomad tents) with drumming music in the middle of the Sahara.

• Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise from the top of the dunes in the Sahara Desert and have breakfast.

• Ride your camel back to the hotel.

• Depart for Errachidia via Erfoud, Aoufous, and the Ziz Valley, stopping for a panoramic view of the oasis of Aoufous in the Tafilalte region.

• Continue to Midelt across the pass of Tizi N'talghamt and stop for lunch.

• After lunch, drive to Fez, the medieval city, via the cedar forest near Azrou and the mountains of the Middle Atlas, with the possibility of seeing Barbary apes (monkeys).

• Make a stop in Ifrane, the Switzerland of Morocco, before arriving in Fez.

• Get dropped off in Fez.
