The itinerary

1

Day 01

Marrakech to Zagora via Aït Benhaddou and the Draa Valley

• Get picked up at 8:30 am and begin your desert tour to Zagora.
• Cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass at 2,260 m above sea level.
• Arrive at the Ksar of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most extraordinary kasbahs in Morocco.
• After lunch, continue the drive to Zagora, passing the Anti-Atlas, the Berber villages of Agdz, and the amazing Draa Valley with its millions of palm trees.
• In the evening, arrive in Zagora and begin your camel trek into the middle of the desert, where you will stay overnight in a bivouac camp.

Day 02

Zagora to Marrakech via Ouarzazate

• Wake up early and enjoy the sunrise over the sand dunes, followed by a traditional breakfast.
• After breakfast, ride back to meet your driver and begin your return to Marrakech.
• Stop in Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and visit the famous Kasbah Taourirt.
• In the afternoon, continue the drive back to Marrakech via the Atlas Mountains.
