3-Day Dades Valley and Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech

• Cross the spectacular Tizi n' Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains.

• Visit two kasbahs, Ait Ben Haddou and Kasbah Telouet.

• Drive between the two kasbahs, and make another quick stop to take a look at the salt caves.

• After these stops, continue through many Berber villages, with the chance to observe the Skoura oasis, Kalaat Mâgouna, groves of spectacular olive trees, and barren hillsides clustered with kasbahs and traditional Berber houses.

• After lunch, drive further to the Valley of the Roses, with beautiful views of the Dades Valley, also known as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.

• Pass through Tinghir and visit the local palmeries.

• Stop at Todgha Gorge and walk through the gorge, with the chance to take in the spectacular canyon.

• Afterwards, drive through many Berber villages, Erfoud, and the Tifilalte oasis, eventually reaching Camp Erg Chaabi in Merzouga.

• Meet the guide and camels, then enjoy a 1 hour 30 minute ride to reach the camp and admire the sunset.

Overnight in camp on half board.

• Wake up early and appreciate the stunning sunrise.

• Take the camel ride back to Merzouga.

• Return to Marrakech through Ouarzazate and have lunch there. The visit to the kasbah of the city and the cinema studio depends on time availability before continuing to Marrakech.
