The itinerary

Day 01

Marrakech to Imlil Trek and Toubkal Refuge

Meal: Early breakfast at the hotel in Marrakech.

Pick up at the hotel and drive to the heart of Morocco's High Atlas Mountains.
The trek starts from the small Berber village of Imlil, located at 1,740 m above sea level, 67 km southwest of Marrakech.

Drop location: Village.

The muleteers will deal with your luggage, food, and all other equipment, and the team accompanying you on this amazing adventure will welcome you.

Start through the Berber villages, following a mule track with an experienced mountain guide.
Head towards the mountain hut via the shrine of Sidi Chamhrouch (2,500 m); a picnic lunch will be arranged.
Continue towards the refuge (3,200 m).

Overnight at the camp.

Day 02

Toubkal Summit Ascent and Return to Imlil

The climb towards the Toubkal summit starts at 5:30 am, followed by 3-4 hours of walking uphill.
Enjoy the natural beauty of the High Atlas Mountains and get a stunning view of the green valleys and Berber villages.
Take a 45-minute break.
Travel back downhill towards Imlil by the same route.
