3-Day Morocco Desert Tour from Marrakesh with Aït Benhaddou

• Pick up from your hotel, riad, bus station, or airport by your Moroccan trekking guide.

• Start the journey from Marrakesh to Dades Gorges across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains and the traditional High Atlas Berber villages.

• Continue to Kasbah Aït Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Aït Benhaddou.

• Have lunch at Aït Benhaddou or Ouarzazate, where you will also visit Kasbah Taourirt and the famous Atlas Studios.

• Continue to the Dades Gorges through the Roses Valley and Dades Valley.

Spend the night in a hotel in Dades Gorges.

• After breakfast, proceed from Dades Gorges to Erg Chebbi in the Sahara Desert at Merzouga.

• Berber villages are scattered along the way, so you will pass through Todra Gorges, Tenghir, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, and feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet.

• Continue to a hotel in Merzouga. After relaxing for a few minutes, take some of your luggage in a small bag, which is necessary for the night in the desert, and leave the rest at the hotel.

• Ride camels on an adventure across the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. This is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise.

• Reach the camp, leave the camels, and walk to the highest sand dunes for sandboarding while watching the sunset.

Spend the night in a camp (Berber nomad tents) with drumming music in the middle of the Sahara.

• Wake up early in the morning to watch a spectacular sunrise over the sand dunes.

• Ride a camel back to Merzouga.

• After breakfast, take a shower at the hotel.

• Start the journey back to Marrakech through different areas and Berber villages, including Alnif, Tazarine, and N'kob. Until Ouarzazate, use the same road back to Marrakesh.

• Arrive in the evening or at night in Marrakesh.
