The itinerary

1

Day 01

Marrakech to Dades Valley via the High Atlas

• Meet your tour guide at 7:00 am at your hotel in Marrakech and drive toward Ouarzazate via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2260 m).
• Stop for breakfast at the beginning of the High Atlas Mountains. After crossing the High Atlas, your next stop will be at Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, the place of the movies.
• After taking photos for souvenirs, have lunch at a nice restaurant in the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah.
• After lunch, continue driving to Ouarzazate city, the gate to the desert and the capital of the movie industry in Morocco.
• Drive along the road of Kasbahs and keep your eyes open to see the beautiful Oasis of Skoura.
• You will make a short stop at the Valley of the Roses to discover how the local people make perfumes from rose water.
• In the late afternoon, you will arrive at Dades Valley, where you will stay at a beautiful hotel near the gorges.

Day 02

Dades Valley to Merzouga Desert

• In the morning, wake up at 8:00 am and have breakfast. Continue driving to Todra Gorge.
• After lunch, drive to Merzouga, the gate to the dunes. Here, you will stop at the hotel and, if you like, go for a short swim before taking a camel ride for two hours to the camp.
• The nomads will prepare some welcome mint tea for you, and then you will go to the dunes to take pictures of the sunset.
• Then, return to your tents for dinner, where the nomads will play the drums around the fire under the amazing sky.

Day 03

Merzouga Sunrise and Return to Marrakech

• In the morning, you will wake up 30 minutes before sunrise and then go for a camel ride.
• Return to the camp for breakfast, take a quick shower, then drive all the way back to Marrakech.
